The Upeska Order and Charitible Foundation is committed to safeguarding as an essential part of its works and mission, promoting a safer culture and the welfare of every young person and adult who we come into conact with in anyway. We work to always seeking and adopting best practice.
We aim to:
- Promote a safer environment and culture
- Safely recruit and support all those with any responsibility related to children and vulnerable adults.
- Respond promptly and professionally to every safeguarding concern or allegation
- Offer care and support for victims/survivors of abuse and other affected persons without prejudice or judgement.
- Offer care and support for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations of abuse and other affected persons without prejudice or judgement.
- Respond swiftly to those that may pose a present risk to others.
- To always take action and to always listen.

An LGBTQIA+ Safe space
We support and work as allies to all who face oppression.
A safe space is a place where the LGBTQIA+ community can freely express themselves without fear.
It is a space, physical or virtual, where violence, bullying or hate speech against members of the LGBTQIA+ community will not be tolerated. A safe space does not guarantee 100% safety, but is rather a place that you protect if an incident (violence, bullying or hate speech) should occur.
